Zine Guidelines
General Guidelines
- You MUST be 18+ at the time of application. We will not be accepting any applicants younger than that.- You must have a viable Discord and email address for communication regarding this projectAs a reminder this is a charity zine. Contributors will not be making any profit off of their contributions. If you are accepted you may not post any finished work or WIPs for this zine until you get the go ahead from the mods. Failure to comply will result in a permanent dismissal from the project.Have fun, and good luck!
Zine Structure
This zine will be split into different subcategories within the project. These will act as thematic prompts for contributors.SKY-EYED
There is a signature look in the eye of every Wind Rider, one that indicates their call to the skies, to faraway lands, to discovery and adventure. What a thrill, to soar above the mundane and everlasting. What does adventure mean to them?THROUGH THE BIANGLE

Zood, O fabled land of Zood! What a mystical place of being, what wonders that were found and found again by every new Gathie, and... what a dark shadow that looms overhead.... What is this world?TALES OF THE WIND RIDERS
Open the history books, dear reader. Or just a copy of a title written by Monty LaMontgommery. The original Wind Riders have tales to tell you for days! What do they speak of?DECK OF THE ZEPHYR
The Zephyr, trusty ol' vessel that is so dearly responsible for the journeys of the Wind Riders. They've spent many a day and night aboard this ship! What occurred here, from skyport to skyport?
Application Guidelines
All pieces submitted for applications must be SFW. The zine will be gen, so it is encouraged that portfolio submissions are platonic/do not contain ships.THIS ZINE IS NOT OPEN TO AI-GENERATED SUBMISSIONS. If we suspect that you used AI generation for your submissions you will be immediately disqualified from the consideration pool.Please include a link to a Google Drive or other image sharing site containing your portfolio. PLEASE MAKE SURE IT IS VIEWABLE BY ANYONE VIA THE LINK!!! This can be checked by opening the link in an Incognito window.
Writing Guidelines
- Please submit at least three (3) works under 2,000 words that you feel are the best reflections of your skills. Excerpts from longer works are fine, such as individual chapters or scenes. It is suggested that you include works similar to the genres you would want to write for the zine (ie: if you want to write something fluffier, include similar fics in your portfolio).- It is also recommended that at least one of the stories submitted in your application is Dimension 20 or TTRPG related, but it won’t count against you if you don’t have any of those works to showcase.- Writing applications will primarily be evaluated based on their ability to tell a complete story within a word limit, as well as their ability to work within their chosen genre. General things like sentence structure, flow, and grammar will also be considered.
Artist Guidelines
Please include at least 3 works of digital art or high-quality scanned/photographed physical art that were created by you. Any visual medium can be accepted, but the quality of images in the application will be considered as it may impact the quality of the final zine.The recommended number of works submitted is around 3-5, but up to 10 will be considered. Please select works you have done that would be similar to the art you would create with the zine, and including works with completed backgrounds is strongly encouraged.It is recommended that at least one of the works submitted in your application is Dimension 20 or TTRPG related, but it won’t count against you if you don’t have any of those works to showcase.Art submissions will be considered on skill, stylization, and how well it fits into the theme of the zine. The ability to create detailed backgrounds for scenes will be favoured, as well as the ability to draw meaningful and believable character interactions.
Merch Artist Guidelines
